Facebook and Bing, search tool from Microsoft, just announced a partnership to make web searching more social. Now when users will do a search on Bing, they will find the relevant content shared by their friends in addition to regular web search result.

Internet Explorer 9 Will Never Be on Windows XP

Looks like IE9 isn't made for the corporate world.

Microsoft this week launched the first beta for Internet Explorer 9, and most early reviews are positive. IE9 brings Microsoft's web browser up to modern standards, and that forward, progressive attitude is applying to operating systems as well – because the new Internet Explorer will never be on Windows XP.

Microsoft: Windows Phone 7 Will Be GSM-only Until 2011

Microsoft said this week that it would not have a version of its upcoming Windows Phone 7 operating system compatible with the CDMA standard at launch. Product manager Greg Sullivan told the Wall Street Journal that the company had decided to focus on GSM initially.

Apple announced the release of the beta version of iOS 4.2 for the developer community loaded with its latest wirless printing feature AirPrint.
The release of iOS 4.2 will now bring multi-tasking feature to the iPad bringing it on par with iPhone and iTouch.

New Twitter Overhaul Adds Photos and Video

SAN FRANCISCO (CNNMoney.com) -- Twitter's 145 million users will soon be able to embed photos and video clips into their 140-character-long tweets, the company announced on Tuesday as it unveiled one of its first major revamps.
The fast-growing microblogging service said the new features are part of a major overhaul focused on making Twitter more user-friendly.
